Chiropractic Services, Treatments, & Pain Relief
Chiropractic treatments have been designed to treat a wide range of ailments and conditions. They are meant to get the whole body working together, because when one part is affected, others are as well. The treatments are non-invasive – surgery-free – and often focus on the spine because when the spine is misaligned, the rest of the body has to work harder, causing pain and other side effects. Obviously there are many situations where the spine is fine but the body is still in pain, and we treat these instances, too. If you want an option to alleviating your pain and getting you back to the mobile, fun person you were, free of surgery and heavy pharmaceutical drugs, then give us a call. While chiropractic care cures nothing, it helps put the body back in proper alignment which in turn helps your systems function properly. We want to help you find the cause of your discomfort and help you feel better.

We see many patients every day who are complaining of back pain. The most common reasons for back pain include herniated discs, subluxations (partial dislocation of vertebrae), stress-related back pain, and general strains and sprains. There are similarities in the treatments of these various ailments but each treatment is targeted to the specific pain reason.
Neck pain can ruin a person’s day. When it goes on for weeks and months, it can have a dramatic effect on one’s quality of life. We frequently see patients with neck pain due to whiplash, stress, poor posture, herniated discs and dislocated vertebrae, although whiplash is the most well-known neck pain issue. We can help to treat this pain and show you techniques that can help you avoid it in the future. Because the nerves send impulses to and from through the spine which runs from your waist to your head, herniated discs and misaligned vertebrae can affect the neck just like the back. If you suffering from neck pain, make an appointment and let’s get it straightened out! (By helping to restore your curve.)
Over-the-counter pills only mask headache pain for so long. For a more permanent approach to headaches, consider chiropractic as an option. We see many patients who suffer from tension headaches and migraine headaches. In addition to relieving your pain, we will also give you headache prevention tips.
If you have been in a recent auto accident, we recommend you make an appointment and come in as soon as possible even if you don’t currently feel any pain. There are often unseen injuries to the body that won’t be felt until much later. Whiplash is a common injury that is sustained during car accidents. Many people feel it right away or the next morning but there are many other injuries including back, leg, and hip pain that may not be felt (or may seem minor) until much later. It’s in your best interest to have your body checked out as soon as possible.
Even though whiplash is a typical neck pain injury and most often received during and auto injury, we feel that it deserves its own page due to the unique nature of the injury. Whiplash is not only suffered during auto accidents, but anytime when the head is unexpectedly jolted in one direction, with no time for the muscles to brace themselves. In Minnesota a slip and fall on the ice will often result in whiplash. And whiplash is not just felt in the neck, but it can also be felt in the form of headaches, TMJ (jaw pain), back pain, and arm pain or numbness or a tingly sensation. When someone suffers whiplash, there is often pain that may seem unrelated but could actually be from the whiplash.
Running injuries can be a number of different conditions of the feet, ankles, knees, hips, or back. We often see patients with pain related to plantar fasciitis, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, runner’s knee, and Iliotibial Band Syndrome. If you’re having a hard time getting around these days, give us a call let’s get you active again. By looking at your Full Spine X-Rays, you can see if something structural like a pelvic twist or tilt is contributing to the discomfort and if custom fit orthotics would be helpful.

Arthritis can make it very difficult to do many daily tasks. If you are sick of taking medications and don’t want to risk surgery, consider chiropractic care as an option.
